Corel DRAW 11 officially released

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 11Corel has announced the release of the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 11 graphics package for vector and raster graphics and animation.

The 3dnews.ru site writes on the occasion:

“In Corel DRAW 11 the user and graphics interfaces have been substantially reworked; there is now support for various symbols, simple drawings and emblems for quickly creating pictures (flowers, grass, stars and much more); new brush types have appeared (Roughen and Smudge); a convenient toolset for quickly creating and editing graphic primitives (ellipses, rectangles and curves) has been added; SVG support has been extended, and so on.

Corel R.A.V.E. 2, aimed at web graphics and animation, gains the Real Animated Vector Effects module; Macromedia Flash support is improved; animation creation and control are extended; there is a toolset for more realistic vector elements and for complex text transformations and animation effects; sprite support has been added (quick and easy creation of movies from a set of animated symbols), etc.

Corel PHOTO-PAINT 11 has a slightly improved user interface and a new toolset for various work on digital images.

The full package costs $740 for first-time buyers; owners of an older version who want to upgrade pay roughly $360.”
